The saved map contains your confirmed tracing. Your palm photo is analysed once and deleted from our servers within 24 hours, usually within seconds. Your device keeps the confirmed lines, your labels and notes, the confidence figures, and the date.
The exported card contains the drawing and leaves the photograph out. You can share the map without sharing a picture of your hand.
The four-crease module is free. Studio Pro adds the shape comparator and the tracing, confidence and correction layer inspector.

No. The lessons assume you are starting from zero, and the first one explains what you are looking at before any line gets named.
Drag a handle onto the crease you can see. The free map includes the handles needed for a basic correction; Studio Pro exposes every control point for finer edits. There is no limit on changes before you save.
Yes. Plenty of hands have no traceable vertical crease, and PalmMuse leaves it out rather than drawing one it did not find.
No. Maps are local to your device. The photograph reaches the server for analysis and is deleted afterwards; the map itself is never sent there.
Almost always the light. A crease needs a shadow to be visible, so flat front-on light flattens the thing being traced. Photo Coach lets you test a retake and see the score move.
